Q1. How to report a signature rule caused false positive to AegisLab?

A1. You can email to support@aegislab.com with the attachment which caused false positive. The security scanner program is not installed in the mail server of AegisLab. Whatever you email to us, they will not be blocked by us. Just the size of each email is limited to 20MB. Only the facilities of your organization may block them. Q2. How to submit a malware to AegisLab?

2. AegisLab Anti-virus App General Questions

Q1. Does the AegisLab Anti-virus App need network?

A1. Yes, the application requires network for authentication, scanning or updating virus pattern. The transmission fee will be determined according to the rate you use.

 

Q2. How to report a false positive in AegisLab Anti-virus App?

A2. You can report it by clicking “REPORT AS FALSE POSITIVE” in scanned result or email to support@aegislab.com with the attachment which caused false positive. We will reanalyze it as soon as possibile.

 

 

Q3. I forgot my security password. How to do?

A3. You need to reset the application as follow:

  • First, open the Settings app on your Android smartphone or tablet.

  • Android displays the list of apps that you have installed on your smartphone or tablet. Tap the application that you want to reset.

  • Tap Storage.

  • To completely reset it, tap Clear data.

  • Re-open the application and set your security password again.

 

Q4. Does “URL Filter” suitable for any browser?

A4. For the reason of compatibility, “URL Filter” only works for Chrome and Firefox.
