Reporting False Positive

If you found false positive when you are using AegisLab signature database based product, please email the product name, product version, signature type and signature version to the following email address. Also, please help us reproduce this issue by attaching the file or URL which caused false positive, or the reproducing procedure. Complete information will speed up the correcting procedures. Please be noted:

  1. The email server of AegisLab bypasses all the security check. There is no any kind of mail scanner installed. And the UTM on the AegisLab network gateway ignores all the email protocols. We understand the purpose of this email address. Whatever you email to us, they will not be blocked inside AegisLab.

  2. The size of each email you sent should not be larger than 20MB.

  3. Please be careful about the Firewall, Next Generation Firewall, UTM or similar facilities of your organization. The attachments may be blocked if your facilities regrad them as malicious.

  4. The AegisLab staffs who are handling the supporting emails know the severity of malware. These emails will only be checked carefully in the Lionic enhanced sandbox.
